Since the covid pandemic started we have been working to bring as much pelvic girdle pain & coccydynia knowledge out there to therapists that cannot come to our practical courses. And here is the result. We are incredibly pleased to announce that after many months of hard work, our renewed online courses & certification system are out!
Renewed Pelvic Girdle Pain online course
Do you want to learn why pelvic girdle pain (PGP) occurs, how to assess it and how to treat it effectively? Do you want to get a useful toolbox to better help pelvic girdle pain patients from a biopshychosocial approach? New and improved content, lab videos and resources to get the knowledge and skills necessary to start treating PGP patients right after completion. Join our renewed Pelvic Girdle Pain: the Rost Therapy™ approach online course and dig deep into the subject of pelvic girdle pain during and after pregnancy.
New Facebook study group
The community of Rost Therapists has been growing substantially since the online course system started 5 years ago. We needed a place to interact, debate and exchange ideas on all things PGP and coccydynia, but the practical in person courses were no longer a possibility in 2020/21. Are you registered in one of our online courses? Or are you already a certified Rost Therapist™ or cocydynia therapist (meaning that you have completed a practical course)? Then join us in the new Facebook discussion group. You will be able to interact with Rost Therapy students, teachers and PGP researchers. We are looking forward to see you there!
Renewed coccydynia online course
Our coccydynia course is still available for all of you who want to learn how to effectively treat tailbone pain with EXTERNAL manual techniques and exercises. New videos with manual techniques, ADL advice and strategies to deal with acute and persistent coccyx pain are now out. This online course is a pre requisite to join our practical in person Coccydynia course, but it can also be a stand alone course for those who want to explore the subject of tailbone pain and apply some simple techniques in clinic directly after completion.
New online certification exam
Developing practical skills with just an online course is a challenge, but we know that some of you are not able to attend a practical course to practice and get certified. And we wanted this to change. To prove that you have the skills necessary to become a certified Rost Therapist™, you now have the chance to take an online practical exam after completing the online course. Your clinical reasoning and practical skills will be evaluated through different tasks. The exam will be corrected by one of our course teachers, and passing it will give you an official Rost Therapy™ certification. Read on for more information on the exam process.
