When do you need to see a doctor?
Consult your physician when there are also signs of pain, numbness or weakness in the lower leg, ankle, foot or toes. When you experience sudden incontinence (more than just a few drops) you have to inform your midwife or specialist.

When do you need therapeutic help?
As soon as you think you are out of control of your body, or when the pain is hindering your daily functions, it is wise to see a specialized therapist to help you regain pelvic control. |
